Course Curriculum Overview

The MSc section is well looked after on our university campus, and the exam process is a semester process. They take seminars and groups and run many workshops. All of the lecturers are highly educated. They were very kind to us and ready help anytime

Placement Experience

In this case, I would like to say that our university is new. So few type of internship or placements is available yet. Students have options when it comes to employment. They can pass the few exam and then study for Ph.D.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is divided into several sections. The fee structure is simple. Although it is a government-aided university, the fee is worth it to us. They help us earn scholarships. Rates are much lower than other universities.

Campus Life

Departmental freshers and a farewell party are being celebrated yearly.The university hosts a sporting event each year. About 26 departments of our university have the opportunity to participate in sports. They are great at games like cricket, football, badminton and chase.

Admission

For admission, I gave the entrance test and then I got a chance. The other university students who graduated from this university have a chance on the merit list. My mark fits the criteria, so I took admission in the college.

I am happy to get the opportunity at this university. There are also evening classes. From a simplistic perspective, our university is very new to other universities. But I can assure you, our university faculty are very knowledgeable about all subjects and all disciplines.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

My CGPA is Very High 9.13 & I have got a chance in all other universities like NBU, APDU , RGU, GBU , VU , SKBU & many more.But the Fact is, Being a resident of Coochbehar I heard that the CBPBU physics department is dedicated for Teaching Physics. And It's situated in my hometown so I decided to study here. MSc degree is same overall in all West Bengal state government-sponsored university.
