Course Curriculum Overview
MSc. Chemistry is definitely a research oriented degree as it focuses on future industrialization. We are given number of projects, practicals, lab work which is to be submitted in short period of time. Since scope of this subject is demanding therefore more focus is laid on the skill development and hands on practice in labs.
Placement Experience
The university places 60-70% students every year in reputed firms. The highest salary package offered is INR 15 LPA and average salary package offered was 3-4 LPA. Some of the top recruiters of the institute are Ranbaxy, RBS, ICICI Bank, Sun Pharma, GSK, Shoppers Stop, Infosys, Tradeindia.com, Deloitte, Adobe and Microsoft and many more. Many MNCs visit the institute for recruitments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course fee is Rs.50,000 for first year and Rs.38,000 for second year. The overall fee is approximately 90,000 for the entire course. The university also offers scholarships to meritorious support the students financially.
Campus Life
Various annual events like cultural programs, sports meet, seminars, guest lectures are conducted which refreshes the mind of students. The students can participate in any of the activities which they are interested in.
Admission
My admission to this university was through merit basis i.e marks obtained in the qualifying exams. I filled the admission form online through university? website. After getting shortlisted in the merit, I was called for counselling with all the required documents and had to pay the fee to freeze my seat.
Faculty
Faculty of this university has both both freshers and experienced members. They are highly trained in their subjects as they keep the students motivated. All of them have a friendly attitude and good listening skills. They teach with variety of strategies.
