Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum designed by the university is quite decent. Its duration is of 3 years. The subjects are mostly research and practical application-based. We do have exams but our schedule is pretty chill compared to other branches.
Placement Experience
No, we do not have an on-campus placement. Students have to go look for off-campus jobs. This process can be made easy if one is skilled and have recommendations from the professors. Alumni network also helps a lot in getting internship or job opportunities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I have to pay around 12,000 INR per year which covers my tuition fees, admission, and all other miscellaneous fees. Considering other universities and colleges in town, it is quite nominal and feasible for me.
Campus Life
We have a lot of other activities apart from just academics. We have field visits which are quite helpful. We also play a lot of sports and host annual day. We host cultural fests and celebrate a lot of cultural events. International Yoga Day is celebrated on a grand scale.
Admission
As I was quite interested in Yoga, so I decided to study more about it. One can apply for this course after 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board. The admission process is via a merit list basis.
Faculty
Faculty is quite good and knowledgable in their fields. The college hails in teaching everything about Yoga Science and one can experience this from the faculty itself. They are quite experienced and worked for several years in their domain of expertise.
