Course Curriculum Overview

The course is highly specified. We started reading from the beginning to 1300 CE in our first semester. We learnt a lot. From reading Romila Thapar to B.D. Chattopadhyaya we read them all and prepared assignment accordingly.

Placement Experience

The college have a placement cell. They did manage to call some companies to visit the campus and recruit students. Some students have been given on campus placement. They also give us information about internships.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very flexible. It is so much feasible. Per year fee is even less than 7,000. The college authorities are so good to keep such a low fee for the course which helps other girls to take up higher education.

Campus Life

We celebrate every festival at the college. We do organised face offs and debate competition and other sorts of activities. Fresher's party and farewell are of course there which is fun as we enjoy a lot.

Admission

I filled the registration form of the college online before the declaration of class 12th results. After the results and release of cut off I went to the college for verification and payed the fee for the programme and got admission.

The faculty is very helpful. Being a girls college is assisting to it. We talk about every issue and try to clear taboos too. Academic wise our teachers teach us well and help us in assignment deadlines too.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
