Course Curriculum Overview

There is no any defined pattern of examination. The college has a window for conducting regular tests and on the basis of these tests we get evaluated. And in the last semester, final papers are conducted, before graduation.

Placement Experience

The job opportunities are limited. Bu then see my stream is very obsolete so not a lot of people opt it. So when applied for a job in a firm, I got it because again then not a lot of people go after it and hence the competition is lesser.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Looking at the demographics of the college and nearby places around the college, the fees structure of the college seems as if it is made for students of rural areas, so that even they could gain the advantage from it. My yearly fees is less than Rs 7,000.

Campus Life

The college does not have any such arrangement for co-curricular activities. There is a big ground where you need to carry you own ball, if you wish to play Football, cricket or any other sport. There is barren land where not all people feel comfortable to go, mainly the ones who do not have any roots with sports and games.

Admission

I've had a great time as a college student in this college. The college has a strict merit based admission policy. I got really good marks because of which I got admission in this college, after when I applied.

Faculty

The teachers are experienced and well educated. I'm proud student to have been taught by these teachers. The maximum of them hold Ph. D degree. The professor take regular classes and compulsory attendance.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
