The product development center in our college designs footwear according to the needs of the industries keeping in mind the target audience .We have well equipped services with modern software and technology for footwear designing and quality grading.Students are trained on these areas so that they can cater to the needs and requirements of the industry.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is really good as it is a two year program which is further divided into four semesters . In the first year we were taught about the Indian footwear industry in detail and to achieve the international standards of production.In the last year we would be given insights about how to promote the growth of export production of the allied products in the country.
Placement Experience
Our college placement service operates year round and facilitate good contacts between the students and high profile companies. Some of the prominent companies which visited my college this year are Bata , Decathlon , Titan , Hide sign and many more.So far we have achieved a centralized placement record of 83% across all the campuses with around 125+ major recruiters.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fees is around 64000 , library fees 5000, and exam fees of 2000. Therefore the grand total comes down to 86000 after including all the other fees . This fees structure is really feasible seeing the infrastructure that is provided to us and their faculty which are training us to achieve our goals.
Campus Life
The labs are well equipped and up to date so that the students does not face any issues in future.Last month a campaign was run by our batch mates to save the girl child , events such as knowledge festival and seminar held by the India rubber industries association.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are quite good and we are also provide with good internet connection facility . The water coolers are well equipped and the electricity we are provided 24 hour. The mess food is also quite good and different dishes are made everyday according to the time table which is maintained by the college students council. The hostel fees is around 18000 per semester.
Admission
The admission process is really very simple if you have a valid MAT score you are eligible to apply . Moreover a person should be a graduate in relevant field to seek admission in this course. There is no age limit defined for this course. I applied via online portal and submitted all the relevant documents asked with my MAT score . A consul-ling session was conducted where i have deposited 25000 to reserve a seat.Thereafter I was granted admission in the college.
Faculty
The teachers are really knowledgeable as they play a key role in imparting us education about the footwear industry , leather accessory and other life style products.Many times have I cleared my doubts and the teachers also willingly help us in clearing everything.
