The college being in a village area is developing day by day. The college really need to work on placement situations and internship opportunities. Apart from these the college has a lush green campus and a playground in which every year sports meet is held .
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is affiliated and coordinates with the Kalyani Unuversity . The course is centrally structured by UGC . Examination are conducted every year on a very fair way . The examination cell of the college always looks to develop good skills among the students . Labs are an integral part of the curriculum too . We all are made aware of the practical approach towards the study .
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities in the college is very less . Being a normal degree college it does not provide any internships too. Students often visit various online platforms for internships opportunities . Our college although conducts various industry oriented workshops but still placement situation needs to be developed .
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is really kept very low and feasible . The university is centrally organised by the central government which in turns result out to be very low fee in our college . The fees for Bachelor of Arts in my college is around 1600 INR per year . Apart from this we are provided with the state scholarships as well which is offered by the state government .
Campus Life
The college really focus on developing extra curricular skills among students . We really have some fun events in our college . The college has its own library and gym too . We publish our own college magazine every year and securing a spotlight in that magazine is a big deal . The college organizes subject-based seminars where eminent speakers from different corners of the state deliver lectures on relevant topics. The college organizes Annual Functions like Freshers' Welcome, Song, Recitation, Debate Competition, Quiz Contest etc. which are attended with huge enthusiasm from the students. Annual Sports & Athletic Meet of the college is arranged where large number of students participate.
Admission
The college offers admission to the students on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th examination . A merit list is prepared and on the basis of it we are alloted the subjects . Faculty
The faculty according to me is the main part of my college . They are so helpful that you can clear your doubts anytime you feel like . They always focus on the research part of the topic they are teaching . Sometimes it becomes a bit difficult to cope up with their level of knowledge but still they try to make things simple and easy .
