Course Curriculum Overview

The course is English honours so the curriculum revolves around all the important aspects of literature and grammar of the English language. This is a 3 year course and exams were conducted on a semester basis.

Placement Experience

My college had its own training and placement cell where the students who are about to graduate can enroll and get ready for the companies to hire them. the college also conducted various workshops which help us prepare for the interviews.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is a 3 year course and the fees for every year was RS. 2700. So the total fees came around to be RS. 8100. The fees was really feasible so I did not face any problems here. As compared to other colleges fees is very low.

Campus Life

The college enthusiastically organised a lot of events and activities for the students. My 3 years here a lot of fun and invite participating in a lot of activities over the time. When it comes to facilities, the college is short of nothing.

Admission

The admission process was quite simple. The first step was to register myself on the official website after which I got a call for the interview. There are only 80 seats available for this course and admission is conducted on the basis of marks obtained in 12th class.

Faculty

My teachers were very helpful throughout my 3 years in this college. They did not treat me like a student but their friend as well. whenever I had any doubts in the syllabus they help me solve it without any arrogance or ignorance.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
