Remarks

It was an ISO certified college which provided education in the field of law. It was the second private law college in the state of west bengal. All the facilities were provided in the college for the welfare of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course Curriculum was latest as per the requirement of the companies. Different subjects were taught in different time period. Students learned a lot of things through the updated syllabus. The Course Curriculum were made students ready for the placements or jobs. Exam Pattern was quite easy . As it was divided into internals and externals.

Placement Experience

The university was visited by many leading organisations to recruited the best talent. About 300+ companies visited the college every year. The college also provided training and internships opportunities to its students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college was quite feasible for the students. The duration of the course was 5 years in the college. So the total fee structure for my course in the college at that time was Rs. 2,62,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Meritorious students were provided with the different benefits of scholarship opportunities by the college. It was essential for the students to had minimum 70% attendance in the college. Students must meet with all the eligibility criteria to apply for these scholarships.

Campus Life

The Extracurricular activities organized by the college were valuable to the students studied there. There were many types of workshops and seminars conducted by the college. Different types of events and fests were also organized by the college. Annual fest was one of the best fest organized by the college.

Admission

The Admission procedure was not so easy for the students. The general candidates who got admission in the college must got 45% in the qualifying examination, the OBC students must got 42% in the examination and the SC/ST students must got 40% in the examination.

The faculty Members were well qualified for all the courses in the college. They performed an admirable job in teaching the students. They put all their good efforts in helping the students regarding the course. They provided the students with the best solutions for any type of queries.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
