I?e only positives for my college. I? very glad that I chose this college for my higher studies. It is also a very reputable college and I haven? had any bad experience with the college as such yet.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams are held for three hours. It has both subjective and objective type questions. It is a good thing as they don? just limit to one thing. The course depends if it? hectic or not. If you love doing it then it won? be as hectic as you think.
Placement Experience
The placements are very good as many good reputable people come in search of fresh and new talent form this college. There are many notable alumni? now in who have have done various things in the movie industry.
College Events
There are many events which are held here. Our college even got selected for 4 continuous years at the Cannes festival. Along with many other festivals. We have inter college as well as college festivals and activities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is a bit high as it? 1.8 lakhs annually and the duration of the course is for 3 years. But it? a good institute so I don? think one should compromise education for the high fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college give a out scholarships to the top 12 meritorious students from the college. Around 50 percent of the annual fee is given off to the meritorious students who receive the scholarship go the first year.
Campus Life
Our college often hosts various festivals related to arts through which a lot of students from various colleges come to participate and we get to learn a lot from them too. It is a very enriching experience. As we also partying the events held for us by the college.
Hostel Facilities
Our college has its own hostel facilities but I?e opted to stay in a PG. The rent is okay as I pay 6,700 a month. I stay alone and for me that amount is okay. I have a separate mess for which I pay 2,000 and get variety of food.
Alumni/Alumna
There are a lot of notable alumni? from this college. There are a lot of famous film makers, film editors and screen writers who have passed out form this college and are very reputable now. Since I? a first year student I? not close with any of the alumni?.
Admission
To get admission in this college was pretty hard. As we had to go through a set of entrance exams in order to be qualified to get a seat. Once you clear the entrance exams then you are called in for an interview. If you clear all those rounds you will be selected. Also the seats in this colleges are very limited. So that also makes it really hard to get a seat.
Faculty
The faculty is highly educated and are very friendly. They clear all doubts and are pretty amiable. They are all young as well and they help a lot. We get to learn a lot from them not just from the educational point of view but also in other aspects.
