Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum and exam structure encourage healthy competition among students. Holistic development of students is ensured with the help of projects, role-playing, situational tests. Exams are conducted twice a year.
Placement Experience
When I graduated, placements were not a thing in SOEL. The placement cell is developing now and inviting big companies and firms to appoint students, but the chances were little bleak during our graduation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
One-year fees of my course came to around ?70,000. This figure included tuition fee, admission fee, library fee, sports fee, class amenities, etc. According to me, this is a pretty decent amount for an Honours degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
A number of Government and private scholarships/financial aid are available to students from humble backgrounds. Some of them are Jeeva Endowment Scholarship (TN Govt.), THIRUMALAISAMY AUDISESHAN ENDOWMENT, K.G.R. Scholarship.
Campus Life
For encouraging and fostering physical and mental fitness of students, there are playing courts where often matches are conducted. These and the celebration of major festivals bring about a sense of belonging among students.
Admission
The college provides 4 courses and one of them is completed in 3 years. It was better for me to complete it quickly as I already had 2 degrees. Hence, I chose this course and applied online. The admission was merit-based.
Faculty
The professors are highly qualified, and encourage us cooperate with others and challenge ourselves. They have the knowledge of the world and tried to share as much as they could with us. They were really supportive.
