My journey with Raiganj Surendranath Mahavidyalaya

Our college is computerised and has a digitalised library among other facilities. With anti-ragging and anti-sexual harassment cells the college takes the safety of its students seriously. They facilitate the students achievements and create and very knowlegable environment.

The physics course curriculum is very exciting and enjoyable. The university follows a CBCS syllabus from the University of Gour Banga. It has a total credit score of 120. I'm in my second year and till now I find the college really nice.

The college has a career cell, that helps you prepare for future employment oppotunities. They conducted mock interviews and provide assistance in developing your job guarantee. There's scope for improvement though.

The college has many clubs you can join. The students union are always welcoming the students, they also hold different functions and activities you can attend and be part of. You can also give suggestions to the union and they take it under considerations.

The fees for the first year of my course were 4,095 rupees and the next two years I have to pay 2,340 rupees - which makes the total 8,775 rupees for just the course. There was a scholarship which I availed from the government.

There are many workshops and seminars that are conducted in the college. The college student's union has made sure that students have a good time. They take suggestions to improve their work with the students.

With an eighty five percent marks in my 12th, I applied for this college. I liked the physics coruse and I thought to applying because of the college's environment, which i thoroughly enjoyed. They have all the facilities so i applied by getting a form from the college.

The teachers of our department are all very co-operative and support the students with their studies. They provide us with the necessary backing to learn the course. The faculty is a also consisting of highly qualified teachers that teach us new interesting things.
