Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for English honours was entirely based on literature history and grammar. It is a 3 year course and exams are conducted on a semester basis. It really give me an in-depth knowledge about everything that I need to know.

Placement Experience

The college does not have any internship for placement opportunities.but since it was my bachelor's degree I did not look at it as a problem. But those who are looking for job afterwards do not need to worry as the college develop proper skills to ace any interview in the future.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for first year was is 3,290 and in the consecutive years it was only rupees 1750. the fees is really feasible and as compared to other colleges where I applied, I was really happy that I got this course in such a low fees.

Campus Life

The college has all the facilities that I wanted. when it comes to gender issue the college is really good as I could observe an equal number of boys and girls in my class. The college has a zero tolerance policy against any misbehaviour.

Admission

I registered on the official website of this college. After that I got a call for the interview. Their only eligibility criteria was 50% marks in 12th standard. The admission process was quite simple and quick.

Faculty

my teachers would really friendly over there. During my 3 years I did not feel like in outsider. They did not only help me in my professional work but also help me grow personally. I could not ask for better teachers.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
