Master of Science [Pharmaceutics]

We had a lot to study in medicine particularly and the syllabus was way too long. I studied nights and nights to complete the syllabus before my internal exam and also for the externals. Including the main exams, we had several class tests also for checking students?curriculum levels.

We had some great chances after the completion of graduation to work at a renowned pharmaceutical organization with a good package that was offered to some appropriate students. Companies and organizations like cognizant, Ranbaxy, lupin, Piramal, Jubliant, Sub Pharmaceuticals, Zydus Cadila limited, Biocon limited were some companies who visited the campus for placement interviews.

We had regional and cultural events combines as a one generally after the exams got over and during the date of some festivals. Also, students have to take permission to celebrate while the events like Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, Independence Day and Republic Day were the main events celebrated by the institute itself.

The fees were quite economical and much more feasible to every student in my batch and relevant field as the fees were 5,000 per annum only. The institution was autonomous and a deadline to pay the fees was displayed on the notice board.

The favorite part of the extracurricular activity was the fresher's party and youth party. Many students came also from the different and nearby institutes in the parties and enjoyed the campus life. Apart from it, studnets organize a general meeting where the academic discussion took place with the seniors as there was much student diversity.

Yes, there are hostel facilities at the campus with appropriate living facilities and also with a mess where three-time fresh food including the breakfast in the morning was given to the hostel students. The rooms were clean and maintained every consecutive day. I preferred hostel as it was on-campus only.

For this particular full-time course Master of Science that too in Pharmaceutics I had to crack the bachelor's degree with a good score and also the joint entrance exams which were quite challenging. I paid 2000 application fee online and then submitted the filled application online with my previous mark sheets.

They were very interested to teach almost anything relevant to the core field but we requested to shuffle some faculty according to their field, knowledge, and content delivery style. However, they all were good at teaching the curriculum in every lecture.
