Course Curriculum Overview

Our college offers M.Sc. in Sugar Technology, Ph.D. in Sugar Technology and Short-Term Courses which are for students who are under-graduates. The short-term course is conducted for 2-3 weeks. M.Sc. is for 2 years and is full-time and on-campus. The college offers training programmes as well.

The Sugarcane Breeding Research Institute, [SBI] Coimbatore encourages its students to complete internships as it exposes them to the work atmosphere at an organizational level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college Institutional Fees is Rs.20, 000 for 2 months and the other is Rs.30, 000 which is for 6 months. The fees are quite feasible and good for the great education and practical training provided by the college.

Campus Life

The college has a number of extracurricular activities such as Women? day, Ganpati festival which provides insight on how we can celebrate it by going green, Dahi handi and many workshops. The college also provides a free medical check-up camp for the faculty. These many activities have boosted the moral of the college.

Admission

For General and OBC Students must gain minimum 55% marks in the qualifying exams. For SC/ST Students must gain minimum 50% marks in the qualifying exams. Students who get admission in professional courses on the basis of competitive examinations or without competitive examination can apply.

Faculty

The Faculty is good, helpful, and hardworking and gives good direction. Faculty members are good to complete the syllabus on time. Exams occur on time in the month of December. Process is simple. We just you have to go there and fill a form .They show us the campus, classes, lab and all the other facilities.

Admission in this college is though but worth it . Dissection in the city of biriyani oh my god. I got here through NEET. After my twelfth I prepared continuously for 2 long years. After qualifying the NEET paper we had been called for counselling.

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.

Not a correspondence but still an independent college life

Admission:

For the enrollment into this college, you need to score good cut off marks as per the Tamil Nadu state board. Then you need to enroll for TNEA counselling process, from where you can choose this campus if your cutoff marks is above the cutoff marks decided by the college management.
