Course Curriculum Overview
The college has 4 different courses that is B.E, B.Tech, Diploma in engineering and some certificate courses. Curriculum is well structured and they keep updating it. Minor exams are taken throughout the semester and major are taken at the end of every semester.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are being processed and the college is searching for good recruiters. There are also internships organized for students. There is a placement cell in this college for the students regarding clarification in placements in the college and also when they graduate.
College Events
GKCIET Civil Engineering Department, aided by other departments, organized training for two batches of Nirman Sahayaks on Rural Engineering issues every year. There are also many other academic activities and events taking place in the college campus every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Comparing to other colleges offering the same course, the fees structure of this college is quite affordable. The fees for polytechnic diploma course is around 2000 per year only. Every fee is to paid at the start of every year.
Campus Life
There is a football, cricket, Athletics team and all the Instruments for the games are provided by the college. This is a Ragging free campus. All the facilities which one will require in his student Life is available in the campus. Students are well behaved and are helpful in nature.
Admission
Candidates seeking direct admissions to full time B.Tech programmes, must have passed diploma course from any affiliated and approved institute/polytechnic with minimum 50% (45% for reserved category) marks. For vertical entry, a candidate must have passed Diploma course GKCIET with minimum 50% (45% for reserved category) marks.
Faculty
Quality faculty was one of the main concerns for me. The faculty of the college is very well maintained. All the faculty members are well experienced and teachers have great command and knowledge on their subjects.
