Course Curriculum Overview

The entire course is of two years and as we have two semesters in a year, our entire course comprises of a total of four semesters, there are tests and quizzes conducted at the end of each semester and examinations are held.

Placement Experience

The college offers good placement, the students selection process done by the organisations are quite tough, the students are selected 80% on the basis of the interview given ad 20% on the basis of the academic record.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite reasonable and can be afforded without much difficulty by students from poor economic backgrounds but the college also offers scholarships to the students, if the student has an excellent academic record.

Campus Life

At our college we have a gigantic sports ground where cricket and football are played and we also have basketball and badminton courts, our college hosts annual sports meet where students from other colleges also participate.

Admission

To get admission, I had to first apply to the college by filling the application form present on the college website, then after submitting the marks scored in 12th grade, and then the students who were selected would receive an email.

Faculty

We have very highly qualified teachers as our faculty members and they have a lot of experience in the teaching field, they organise various seminars, webinars , exhibitions, site visits and various other events.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

For admission, you have to be at least graduated with a 60% aggregate. Then you have to fill IP University application form and give the entrance exam after selection you have to wait for the counseling sessions. Application fees were around 1500 rupees.
