Course Curriculum Overview

The maths syllabus is usually common across all colleges. But this college concentrates on more of theory in the first year then move to more of practicals for subjects like statistics, discrete mathematics and analytical mathematics.

This college currently do not have a separate placement cell. But the university is considering to create a new department. Currently the job opportunities are shared with the students in students forum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fees is very feasible. The per year fees is 12,000 including admission fees. The total fees for 3 years is 35,000. There is no hostel facilities available. The canteen is available and we have to pay at the counter.

Campus Life

Our college has organised many inter college activities for sports and cultural events. All the events are celebrated traditionally. The anti ragging committee monitors all the students for any violation of discipline.

Admission

The students applying for joining the course should have completed SSLC. We have to fill the application form and submit it attaching all the mark sheets of SSLC. We will be asked to come to college for interview if we are selected.

Faculty

The teachers of this college are very knowledgeable and helpful. They are Master in maths domain and they provide us with lots of practical exercises. The way of teaching in practical manner is really different and good.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

At my time it was merit based admission system so 85-90% is needed. You'll get admission details with form and all in their portal only. Reservation benefits you'll get only in scholarship perspective. The frequency is 6 month and exam difficulty level is moderate.
