Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was vast. It was a five years integrated course. The curriculum includes study of both technology and science. Curriculum was based on theory, practicals, laboratory work, field work etc. The institute conducts formative assessment, Internal assessments and final examination. Final examinations are based on both theory and practical papers.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities was above average in our institute. More than 65 percent of the students got recruited in the campus interview. The placement cell of our institute arranges campus interview for its final year students by inviting many companies. Companies like BOSCH, TCS, SUNTEC, MINDTREE, IBS etc come for campus recruitment in our institute.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees of the five years course was around 6,75000 lakh rupees. My yearly fees was around 1,35000 lakh rupees. As i opted for hostel accommodation, my hostel fees was not included in the total fees. The fees was expensive but as per the facilities and the education provided by the institute it was quite satisfactory.
Campus Life
The institute organizes many extracurricular activities like cultural events and festivals, sports activities, social activities. Many cultural festivals are organized to celebrate the diversity and integrity of the students community. Various social awareness programme like plantation programme, swachh Bharat, blood donation camp are also organized.
Hostel Facilities
The infrastructure and the facilities provided by the hostel was very good. There are two large hostels for both boys and girls. Facilities provided by the hostel are common room, recreational centres, TV room, dining hall, washing machine, refrigerator, hot water facility etc. My hostel life was very good. We enjoyed a lot in our hostel life.
Admission
The admission process in this course was based on the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. Students after qualifying their higher secondary examination with minimum 50 percent of marks from science stream are eligible to get admission in this course. Reservation of seats are there for SC/ST and physically handicapped students.
Faculty
Teachers are student oriented. They have deep knowledge and passion in their respective subjects. They are impartial to all the students. The quality of teaching was very good in our institute. Teachers provide study materials to its students.
