Dark Reality of IIIT Kottayam

I choosed this curriculum because i can get placed with in 3 years in some software feilds. This curriculum is most relevant to real world applications and with this i can even go to some higher studies I think everything is good in this curriculum , i dont have any sujjections some small tests are conducted twice a week and final exams are conducted once in 4 months

*Our internship sponcers are Amazon, IBM, bosch, Nissan, TCS, infosys, NVIDIA. *One of the project my friend did is " Drug de-addiction app". My class mates did this project and they got selected in hackathon and also they got 1st prize in that competition They were awarded with 1.5 lakhs for the support.

From 7th semister students can sit in campus placements companies visited in our campus are Amazon , IBM, Bosch, Nissan, TCS, Infosys, NVIDIA, Cognizant, Deloitte, Jio, HP.. nearly 170 offers made in the year 2024 Highest package - 45LPA, Average package-12.7LPA , Highest internation package- 44LPA Almost 83 percentage of the students were placed After getting my degree i will start working in a software company

Annual fests held in our campus are Adhavya and Apoorv The books are available any time in the library and we can access them even from online also Really the facilities are very good in the class room we are provided with a study chairs and class room PPTs are projected on digital screens we are having very less sports offered in our campus compared to other IIIT's Yes, there are many clubs in our campus - GDG, chitrachaaya, wild beats , dance clubs, Gymnasium club ..

*In our hostel rooms we are provided with a study table, chair , cupboard, cot , lights ,fans, sockets. *Meal quality is very good in our campus but the only defect is on Monday morning and Saturday the meals are not good in taste. *There is special registration for hostel , everyone in our campus must have to pay the hostel and mess fee and had to stay in hostels only.

I also applied to IIITdharwad and i also got confirmed admission in it but have choosen this college because it has hot placements Yes, I got rejected in IIIT kancheepuram because my rank is not enough to get into that college All the IIIT's have same admission process first we need to give JEE Mains paper and then we have have to get enough rank to get a seat in this college , that process is done by JOOSA councelling and CSAB councelling In general one should get rank of below 30000 if he is a male and from general category

The faculty to student ratio is about 20:1700 , All the faculty are very friendly with the students in case of studies they also help us in learning many new things. The faculty i like upto now is Dr.cinu and Dr G.bhanu chandar i personally like these two teachers because they are very kind towards students and helped me a lot they have best knowledge and no ego. I like all the faculty. There are only two exams Mid sem and end semister exams compared to end sem mid sem exas are very tough only a few students fail to clear the exams ,really our course is very usefull for us

For us gym slots are alloted according to some free timing only in that time we have to go to gym , there are 4 cafeterias in the campus and these are available from 9am to night 10pm, library is available from early morning to mid night , public area is closed after 11:30pm Hostel and campus in timings are upto night 9:00pm there are no hang out areas in our campus and it is not safe to roam outside the campus
