Remarks

This is a good college to pursue a master? degree, especially in the literature stream as there is so much to gain through the faculties, books in the library. Also, every year students are taken to certain places where they can learn and refresh themselves.

Course Curriculum Overview

Here at the university, the course was completely theoretical as we have to read a lot of books and the lectures were very long but they were few every weekend. Also, we had to keep the basic in mind to understand the actual concept. Exams were descriptive and students were evaluated from the submission and main exams.

Placement Experience

4

Some institutes and organizations visited to take the interviews of both the bachelor? and masters students but the placement ratio was quite high for the masters?students. Also, we got the job easily by cracking the interviews and the final round of the interview aptitude test.

College Events

4.5

We had numerous events like seminars based totally on the discussion of literature. Students willingly gave a speech on their research. Guests from renowned institutes were called in this event. Also, the university permitted to celebrate almost every festival and organize a welcome event for the fresher students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Inclusive of the admission charges and registration fees along with the tuition fees for one year combined, I paid 6,800 as a whole amount through cheque at the campus itself. It was very feasible acknowledging the facilities and services the university provides.

Campus Life

As an inclusive of extracurricular activities, we managed to host a webinar where the students can show their talent to the faculties and director on the stage. Also, the university arranged a museum visit in the nearby town for the students to know and study the history and the literature. Students had to make a report and submit it to the concerned faculty.

Admission

I already completed my bachelor of arts from the literature field from recognized college after which I was able to make it to the Masters of Arts in this university for the English literature stream. Also, the procedure was fully online until the admission is confirmed so I have to give my documents and then I will be notified for the offline process at the university and they provide assistance for these processes at the campus.

Faculty

4

Faculty delivered the lectures professionally as they were trained to do so and along with it they had quite a good academic experience. They gave us an assignment that we had to complete in the timeline and faculty score us in internals based on the submission and viva.

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
