Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is one such which focuses on complete and exhaustive knowledge of the subject. Since Agriculture is a field science, a small proportion of our studies is done in the classroom and mostly out in the fields and labs. A normal day is enlisted with a lot of research, and we learn amazing things in the process
Placement Experience
Our Institution's PhD program is such which does not focus on placements that much. Sure, after the completion, we gain so much idea of the field that we can easily land a decent paying job, but that is not something which our program provides us with.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the whole of the three years turns out to be Rs. 1.85 lakhs, which, when compared to other PhD programs is on par, but, even then if someone finds it too much then, there are the options of a loan through which they can pay out the fee.
Campus Life
Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research is an institution which has people from all over the country, and it adds on to the diversity of this Institute. Moreover, it also conducts international level conferences, which goes a long way in ensuring us increasing our accumen.
Admission
The admission procedure has a number of steps. First of all, to be eligible for the program, you have to have atleast 55% in masters of science in the same subject, preferably. After that, there's an entrance test that takes place which selects only a few and then the list is updated on the college website.
Faculty
The faculty of this institution is excellent. We are taught by people who hold Scientist degrees and have worked in the sector for decades. Not only that, they have a great teaching experience and they themselves are in midst of various researches. We get the opportunity to learn first hand.
