Remarks

I really enjoyed my college life.Fees is also not much expensive.I like the environment of the collehe.Teaching is also good. I took admission in the college because it s the best college for the students who are living nearby and can enjoy facilities provided the college .For the students who come from rural areas it is the best college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum of the College is up to the mark.Books are made available to each and every student if the student doesnt get it from outside due to some reasons. Exams are held twice a year and sometime suprise tests are taken to know about how well the students are studying.overall i will say that the course structure is good.

Placement Experience

I not happy with the college when it come to providing placements and job opportunities to the students. schoolarships are provided to the students which are cool.I haven't done any internship as i didn't find the urge of it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In my opinion the fees of the college is feasible.For BA English hons. The total amount of fees is Rs.13520.Which is not at all expensive. This is a 3 years full time course.Student can pay fees through online mode also.

Campus Life

Sports facilities are provided in the college i myself participated in the badminton competition held in the college on sports day.Different festivals are also celebrated.Durga pooja is celebrated in the best possible way which is mesmerising.i haven't seen any student bullied by seniors or any other student.

Admission

I applied in the college thorugh online admission process.For Geeting admission in BA English Hons student should have agrregate of 45% marks in the 12th examination and 45% marks in the concerned subject .The admission is merit based.

College faculty support the student and encourage them to study well.Facult of BA English Hons department is well educated and experienced.smart classes are also provided to the student and there is wifi internet facility within the campus.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Teachers are very good and the atmosphere of the college is very good, which helps students to concentrate on their studies. Each department has its own departmental library. And the college has a core library which has lots of books on each topic of each subject. The teachers of this college are very helpful.
