Course Curriculum Overview
Yes, the course curriculum covers everything and helps you gain knowledge from every subject. Their are two mandatory projects which help students apply their knowledge and research more. Industrial visits are a part of curriculum at the end of second year and students to taken to different companies like we were taken to Infosys for the same and one other company in Chandigarh and given insights
Placement Experience
Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Capegemini, Infogain etc. visit every year and apart from these MNCs like Adobe and HP have also visited our campus for placement drives. The placement is pretty average in my college with an average package of 4.8 LPA. The college also provides internships and internships are kept an integral part of the course .
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is really feasible and does not put any financial burden on us . We are asked to pay around 30,000 per year which is not too high considering the course we have chosen is BTech . The Tamil Nadu state government also provides scholarship to the meritorious students as well.
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs and they all take care of the extra curricular activities. You can join them based on your interest. The gender is really good and people from almost every state study here and even we have international students studying at the college. The sports events are conducted on a regular basis and our college students are really active in different sports .
Alumni/Alumna
The college has a large alumni base connected through alum association and there are alumni meets every year and you can build contacts their. The alumni often come back to campus to recruit and offer projects. Being a part of alumni club of the college I must say I had the best college memories here .
Admission
The college offers admission to the students on the basis of marks obtained in JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) and TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) . I got admission to the college on the basis of marks obtained in JEE exam. I scored around 106 and was offered the admission pretty smoothly.
Faculty
Faculty is highly qualified and is always ready to help be it academics or any project you wish to work outside. They also tend to release projects for working and improve your knowledge. The faculty has their degrees from well reputable institutes and have excellent teaching skills.
