Course Curriculum Overview
Students in my batch had a practical course curriculum and we spent much of the lecture duration in the laboratory only. Also, we performed experiments on the topics we studied during lectures. Exams were based on those relevant topics and they were every year irrespective of the internals and practical exams in labs.
Placement Experience
Some students preferred to get a job and some decided to do further studies. However, I got a job opportunity from cognizant and Biocon Limited after the placement interview got over. Companies like Cadila pharmaceuticals, matrix labs, zydus, jubilant, Piramal, cognizant, and Biocon Limited were the companies that visited the campus for placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The most feasible fee structure I have ever noticed was of this particular institute as here I paid 10,000 for the whole course so it was very appropriate and easy to pay. The students paid the full amount at the time of admission only.
Campus Life
Students freshers parties, youth festivals every six months, job and project fair were inclusive of the extracurricular activities at the campus. Also, the students were taken to the study tour as a part of the activity to nearby institute or organization to see real work.
Hostel Facilities
There were separate hostel facilities for the boys as well as girls by the institute. Also, the fees were taken separately irrespective of the tuition fees but they were appropriate. Also, clean rooms and good food were the main reason that students preferred hostel and that too on the campus itself.
Admission
As I did my bachelor's in a relevant field, I got selected for a Master of Science in biotechnology stream at this institute despite my average scores in the previous academics. The admission link is available so thereby I filled all the personal details with the previous education information and scanned copies along with the application fees which were 2,000 to be paid once.
Faculty
At the college, we got most of the guidance regarding curriculum from our respective faculties only as they had years of experience in their respective stream. Also, the lab faculty were very knowledgeable as they only gave experiment lectures.
