Course Curriculum Overview
The course was up to date and slight changes were made during my time according to the industrial needs. We had extensive lab work too but with regular assessments and quize, I was able to manage all of it.
Placement Experience
The placements were secondary since it was a government college, the primary focus was on quality education which indeed was fulfilled. However, the provision of stipend and scholarship and fee studentship was given to needy students who faced challenges financially.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The good thing about studying in government college is that we get to be mentored by top class faculty within the budget. For my BCA course, the fee was around 22,000 which is like nothing as compared to private institutes.
Campus Life
With the career counseling cell, NCC, computer training to every student and focus on sports and activities, our college was fun. We had annual cultural fest organized which used to be the center of attraction to which every student looked up to.
Admission
Since Gangarampur is a government aided college with such a competitive fee structure, I chose this college over others. I filled the application form and then waited for the merit list to be out, I visited the college with all the required documents after I got through the list.
Faculty
The faculty was experienced, some of them being CS engineers too. They had thorough knowledge about the subject. They mentored us, guided us and were so interested in solving our doubts, Our Java teacher was so intelligent, he taught us the subject with utmost interest.
