Course Curriculum Overview

They looked upon all the parts of the subjects. there were very presented in a very good and precised style from the nutrition chart to everything about the nutrition. Food and nutrition both were dealt separately in my syllabus

Placement Experience

Quite a few companies came in order to recruit us for the jobs with salary starting from 12 thousands. But it was very less in numbers. Although me and many of my college friends were not wanting to join any company for job only with a B.Sc degree

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of bsc was high in compared to all the other course but it was very well justified.As we had many other facilities like different labs work,excursion trips our fees was slight higher with rupees 11396 charged every year.

Campus Life

We played many games inside our campus during our free classes.These games always resulted in providing us some good and healthy time inside our busy schedule. Annual day held in the month of october for whole college student.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels were available according to the demand of the students.We had one college hostel and other than that many private hostels were there who has some links with my college. Charge was different for different hostels according to their facilities

Admission

My college was quite old but full of experience and dedication towards the future of students. For selection they saw my percentage of boards and when my percentage matched with the cutoff of the college,they gave me admission

Faculty

As my college was established in 1937 there were any teachers who gave their whole life in teaching in this reputated college. I dont have any words to describe them.They were just the perfect teachers anyone can ever get.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Best to find in the least.

The student must have acquired 60 percent in 10+2 standard. The application form is available in the college website. There is no application fees. The application is given out in July . There is 10 percent reservation for OBC SC and ST. The semester exams takes place every 6 months along with internal exams every 2 months. The exams are moderate in difficulty level. Our college provides an auditorium which can accommodate up to 150 students at one go. There is a spacious common room for activities such as indoor games ( chess, carom board, dancing rooms) etc. A separate grievance cell is also there were the students can give their feedback about the college premises/staff in the complaint box.
