Course Curriculum Overview

Ba political science is a graduation course which has the duration of 3 years and follows semester system and has a good course structure. Various group discussion are held. The days are generally chilled but exams are very tiring.

Ba political science course is a general degree course so the students do not find any intereshios and job opportunities. However, most of the students opt for higher studies to add more feathers to theri resume.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the BA political science is around 40 thousand which is very much feasible as per the education and facilities provided by the institution. So political science is the course of vital importance and is in great demand among the students.

Campus Life

The institution is very good in its extracurricular activities. There are certain specific sports activities. Interests clubs are there to join as per your interests and creativity. Cultural events are organized for the students enrichment. Gender ratio is fine.

Admission

Panchmura Mahavidya is located in West Bengal. The institution offers ba political science. In order to get admission, the student should have completed class 12 with at least 50 percent marks from a recognized Indian Board. Then the students will have to apply and on merit basis, they will be selected.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
