The college has a range of courses in one place itself. The fees however for a few are a bit high. It can be worked out. The campus is good, spacious and friendly. The facilities are well kept and easily accessible.
Course Curriculum Overview
Its a three year course which is divided into six semesters. Each semester comprises of several theory lectures, laboratory based practicals, field visits, assignments and semester end examinations. The schedule is completely packed.
Placement Experience
For this course there are no placement opportunities from the college. Mostly it starts from master's degree. However, internships can be done in the end of second year to gain hands on experience of the subject.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for each year goes as follows- 1,67,000 rupees for 1st year and 1,39,000 for both 2nd and 3rd year. The total fees amount is 4.45 lakh rupees. Considering a basic B.Sc course the fees are expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are provided here based on marks. Above 80% in board gets a full scholarship with monthly income of 25,000/-. Above 75% in board gets a monthly income of 15,000/- and the ones below that get 75% scholarships.
Campus Life
A range of activities are celebrated here. Freshers and farewell parties of every department is carried out separately. Sports, fests and cultural events are all a part of the college. It is enjoyed by all.
Admission
For this course the minimum marks required is 55% in 10+2. Based on which merit list is made. The registration for the course is done online from the college website. After this merit list is put up and the enrollment starts.
Faculty
The Microbiology faculty are mostly research oriented thus, it helps in determining our own research projects. The teaching is good and easy to understand the topics. Doubt sessions are held before exams to improve our marks.
