Course Curriculum Overview

The duration of the course is three years which determines all the technical aspects that go into film making and direction. The unique part of this course is that most of the knowledge was gained from practical and real life applications.

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities are ample but the pay scale is not fixed since it depends on the type and budget of the project one is doing. We got placed in many ads and short films as an initial starting point.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for the Cinematography course is Rs 1.82 Lakh which is average in terms of fees structure. The thing is that those who are really passionate about this particular field should definitely consider this as their option.

Campus Life

There are many extracurricular activities that the college is a part of. College was also selected to be the part of Cannes Film Festival for four consecutive years. There are also workshops conducted on motivation and leadership.

Admission

The admission to the college is based on the marks obtained in the written test which is conducted by the college. After that, shortlisted candidates are also called for an interactive orientation session and viva voce.

The faculty and staff members of the institute are really experienced and have done theatre work themselves. They taught me direction in a way that no one else could have done it better. I'm still in touch with them.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
