Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed in such a way that one knows all the inside outs of chemistry. The college is affiliated to University of Burdwan, which is known for its well defined and knowledgeable courses. The exams were rigorous, but they tested the true understanding of the subject among students.
Placement Experience
The course I opted for doesn't provide much placement opportunities at the college level. But still our placement cell makes sure that some of the students get placed at reputed companies. However, there are pretty good placements available for courses like B.com.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Rs 16000 for the graduation of a science specific course is something you would not hear very often. It is so affordable that even people from very low sections of the economy could afford it. What makes it more feasible is that you have to pay it year-wise, with per installment being around Rs 5000-5500.
Campus Life
Our college has a well equipped science lab, where chemistry students conduct all sorts of practical experiments. Our college actively takes part in social service campaign. For eg: our college has adopted a small village name Ruidas Para which is 3.5 km away from our college.
Admission
I pursued my bachelor's in chemistry because I always had a interest for the subject, since my school days.This interest lead to my undivided focus towards the subject. This college was always my first choice college and I was really lucky when I could get into this college with ease, based on my marks in 10+2.
Faculty
All the faculty in the science department are very well versed with the subjects they teach. The lectures were always interactive leaving no student uninterested in class. The professors had years of experience in teaching and dealing with all sorts of students.
