Remarks
I have a positive remarks for this college as the infrastructure is good the campus life is over all good I am experiencing good learning here the teachers are very humble and helpful also.Seniors are also very cooperative. The college is good for studying as a atmosphere is quite and cheerful. This is one of the good colleges in Kolkata for girls.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my opinion the course structure of a college is fine. As per the course structure of MSc is concerned it is not very books are easily available. And you can get some books from the library if you want to study extra about this course. It is a two year course and in 1 year 2 semester are held. The course is completed by the professionals on time and we also get enough time to study.
Placement Experience
I am still studying in the college so I have not any say about the placement they provide to the students but they do provide some internship opportunities which are good.I have came to know that some deserving students do get placement opportunities. But the job opportunities are very few.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for MSc course is not expensive. For one year the fees is Rs.36000. For 1 semester the fees is Rs18000. Which is not much expensive and easily affordable. The total amount of fees for this course is Rs.72000.
Campus Life
In the name of extra curricular activities various competitions are held in the college every year and the winning of the student are celebrated by giving them prizes and certificates. Freshers parties and farewell parties are also celebrated in a very good way. There are some cultural societies which organises festivals and various important occasions.
Admission
For the admission in this college I applied online and fill the information required in the admission form. I am pursuing post graduation course that is MSc from this college. The eligibility criteria for studying MSc in this college you should have a bachelor's degree from any known university. The the 60% of the candidate is selected on the basis of merit list and 40% of the students have to appear for the entrance exam which is conducted by the university of Calcutta. I got admission on the basis of merit list so I haven't sit for the entrance exam.
Faculty
Professor of the college are qualified educated and know very well about their subjects they are teaching. They are trying best to teach the students and I can say that they are doing well in their jobs. They encourage students to study well and and do good in exams. Also provide us opportunities to participate in various activities that held in the college which gives us a lot of exposure.
