Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was newly designed by the college team. It was updated as per the demands of the new technologies. The exam structure was divided into various parts. Sometime in the form of internal exams and sometime as external exams.

Placement Experience

The placements of the college were at the top. Most of our seniors placed in the good companies. About 85% of the students were also got placement from my batch. I think the internships were also offered for the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college was too low. The fee structure of the college was feasible for the students. The fee structure was Rs. 2,175 per year. So the total fees for 3 years was Rs. 6,525 which was a very small amount.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provided concessions in tution fees for the meritorious students. The college also offered different scholarships and awards based upon the merit of the student in different subjects such as Vidyasagar Award, Sarat Award and so on.

Campus Life

The college offered various facilities such as libraries, computer laboratories, sports and games. Many events and fests were organised in the college for the students to present themselves in front of everyone.

Admission

The college offered undergraduate programs in the field of Arts, Science and also offered post graduate programs. The application mode of the college was online. The admission criteria was on the basis of their merit in previous examination.

The faculty of the college was really apreciable. All the teachers were highly qualified. They had a lot of experience in their fields. They offered students help all the time whenever the students needed .

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
