Course Curriculum Overview

For anyone who is interested to learn the computer application and software, this course is the best big to graduate with. I learned so much from the entire course and it made me a budding professional and guided me to the right route. From basic computers to the advanced level, the structure of this course is just perfect.

Placement Experience

The placements for our cell was pretty decent. There were companies coming in fro startups to the more established ones. The average package offered was of 20 thousand a month which I think is pretty decent for a college graduate with no prior experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for my course was about 6500 per year which is like peanuts as compared to other institutes providing CS. Also, the amount of lab work we had on our curriculum was so overwhelming so I think this was a steal deal for someone like me that comes from the lower sect but still want good exposure.

Campus Life

Our college used to participate i various competitions that used to held in the city. The students used to participate in the foyer before going for the inter college competitions and it was so great to watch them perform. My college aced the annual cultural fest everytime.

Admission

I filled the online application form for this college and filled all the details and attached the documents and after the first merit list came out, I was eligible to take the admission so I went to the college for the documentation process.

Faculty

The faculty was so nice and supportive especially the professor that taught us C++. They would patiently listened to our doubts, helped us get through the hectic labs, guided us to synchronize the practical work with the theoretical knowledge.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Dumkal College, a loving Study Centre

There are online process of Admission to this College. The authority will publish merit lists according to the marks of Higher Secondary as merit point. So they are clean to their admission policy. No third party public are allowed in this process. The College will give admission menu in their website, and student have to pay the fees at online process. Student don't need to go college untill their final admission done .
