Course Curriculum Overview

In our course, we were given knowledge on both classical and modern film making and how has it evolved over time. We were taught through movies only and emphasis was also given on our writing and editing part.

Placement Experience

Almost all students get placed in films, series and ads. Quikr, Netflix and even in small ads people from our college have appeared. There is no fixed package since it depends on the kind of project that you're doing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for this particular course is Rs 1.82 lakhs in total. I think it's reasonable enough in comparison to the facilities and the exposure that the institute provides. Those who want to make big in this field can try out this.

Campus Life

College has been a part of Cannes Film Festival for four years and have conducted various workshops by eminent artists and filmmakers. There are also movie nights hosted by the college to have a bit of fun.

Admission

Admission is based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam. After that, the shortlisted candidates also need to appear for a Personal Orientation Round and Viva Voce which ultimately decides the final selection.

The best thing that the institute had to offer me was it's teachers. They are so experienced and such highly qualified personnel. They've been a part of so many theater groups which gave us an addded advantage.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
