Remarks

I had an absolutely amazing experience at my college. I lived every day to its fullest. The faculty, the studensts everyone was amazing. The college helped me fulfill my dream of becoming an architect.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was excellent. There were technical and creative subjects of equal proportion. Internships were compulsory for every student in the 8th and 9th semester. Some semesters were really hectic.

Placement Experience

The placements were excellent in my college. Almost every student got placed. The average package was around Rs 35k per month for the students. Companies like Jones Lang lasagn visited our campus for recruitment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for the 5 year course is Rs 5.67 lakhs. This fees is divided into the five years of the course. The feess is feasible and this is what the cost of such a course is throughout the country.

Campus Life

The college organizes trips of various kinds for the students. There are sports facilities in the campus both indoor and outdoor. The college also celebrates various cultural events and festivals of national importance.

Admission

I was selected in the college based upon my NATA exam results. They required at least 50% marks in NATA and 50% marks in 10+2 with maths as the compulsory subject. Then a merit list was declared and interviews were held to select the candidates.

Faculty

The faculty was very highly qualified and experienced in their fields. They were always ready to clear any doubt that we had regarding our subject or career. Shri Arvind Kumar Jain was my personal favourite teacher.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

You can apply for B.Arch with your NATA scorecard. Along with that a candidate should have at least 50% marks in class 12th from a recognized board with mathematics as a compulsory subject. A 10+3 diploma degree with 50% marks is also eligible for admission. Merit list will be prepared on the combined scores of class 12th and online examination.
