Remarks

Our college management is very good. It is a anti-ragging campus, free from all types of mischievous activies. One of the most disciplined college all over Delhi university.

Entrance Preview

Haven't give any entrance examination yet. My admission was done on the basis of merit and it was quiet simple.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum of our college is quiet intresting as it includes almost all type of under-graduation, post-graduation and certificate courses available to the students.

Internships Opportunities

Our college placement cell has played a crucial role and worked upon associations relating to carrier launcher, Times education and Indian express, they also organised the interaction of final year students with experts from diverse areas. The top most recruiters includes Barclays, ICICI, Wipro, Genpact, Max New York life insurance, Google, etc.

Placement Experience

The companies that came to our campus include Genpact, Max New York life insurance, ICICI, lilliput, Wipro, Barclays, Hindustan, and many more. They gave package of around 12.5 lakhs a year and some of them gave package of around 2.5 lakhs per year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of our college is quiet feasible as it a government college. The minimum amount starts from ?7000 only for a year and it ends upto ?15000 maximum for all types of courses- under-graduate and masters.

Our college used to give scholarships to the students every year who scored highest percentage of marks in tha over all academics.

Campus Life

Our college campus used to have a very peaceful environment. There is no discrimination relating to any caste, race, religion, etc. The funds of our college are availed from the government so economical status of our college is up to the mark.

Exam Structure

Exam structure of our college is quiet hectic as we have semester system of examination and which is also good from studies point of view.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
