Course Curriculum Overview

My college NIH Kolkata provides a 5? years Degree Course in Homoeopathy. I took admission in B.H.m.S course because this was my dream course and I am interested in gaining the knowledge of surgeries and human anatomy. Each student has to undergo compulsory rotatory internship of one-year duration after passing the final examination in the BHMS course.

Placement Experience

Yes, the placement process is easy and pleasant for seniors. Quality of Placements is excellent. The cell interacts with many hospitals in the country, many of my seniors are a doctor in AYUSH Ministry, Safdarjung Hospital and AIIMS. I am good at studies and I am sure I will be soon with them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is very less and feasible. For a degree of the doctorate, the fees are nothing. I paid Around INR 35460 at the time of admission for one year. which includes all my fees like tuition fees, library fees, exam fees, books and stationery. Also, the college has many government schemes and scholarship for Reserved category.

Campus Life

The college has a collection of the Library includes Books, Journals, back volumes etc. in different fields. The Library is Fully Air-conditioned & Computerise, hotel facilities for both girls an boys, Hospital attached to the Institute. Action taken by Anti Ragging Committee for all women, CCTV cameras are installed at critical spots in Hospital and college. So many workshops provide us.

Admission

I got admission in this college through entrance exam (On the basis of NEET scores). I am an OBC student and I had the advantage of getting qualifying in the entrance test. so when I qualified I had to submit my 10+2 certificate and OBC certificate Which was needed at the time of admission in this college.

Faculty

Every faculty is so helpful in academic coaching and so advance faculty are present and more experienced faculty to help the students in campus, The staff regular weekly seminars on important topics and clinical case presentations where the Postgraduate trainees, internee and faculty members take active participation. Dr Ram Krishna Ghosh sir is my favourite faculty

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
