Course Curriculum Overview
The course is of three years well structured and focused on teaching the foundations of journalism. The course is semistar system as per WBSU. Some of The core subjects of the course are basics of journalism, photography etc.
Placement Experience
My college have a career councelling and placements cell which helps us with getting enormous opportunities for jobs and internships. Every year various firms and companies visit our campus to recruit students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is very good and is feasible to us. The expenses aren't high as usually the fees of education is. The total cost of three years of B.A (Journalism) is for Rs. 6,000/- And also we are been provided with scholarships opportunities.

The college conduct various extracurricular activities and Cocurricular activities every year we are always encouraged to participate for our better development and growth. Also various workshops and seminars are also conducted every year.
Admission
The admission is on the basis of merit in the academic year 10+2 The basic eligibility criteria is to be qualified in 10+2 with atleast 50% and for SC/ST minimum eligibility criteria is 40% I am doing BA (Journalism) and I chose to do this course because I am passionate about it. I love how on news channels the journalists read the news and how they debate putting their own views so confidently. I want to be a journalist.
Faculty
The faculty of my department is very good they help us with the techniques and skills required in journalism and encourage us to gain more of confidence within us to do better. All the teachers are also well qualified and have gained a lot of experience in teaching.
