Course Curriculum Overview

This is a three-year course. Every year we have a seat final exam. If one passes in one year, there is no option to repeat the final examination. The total marks in the examination are 100. I think the course curriculum is excellent of this college.

Placement Experience

There is no placement cell in our college. Internships have no choice. This is a degree college, so it is not good to expect placement, in my opinion. It is not an autonomous college. It is under the purview of Burdwan University.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We pay a monthly fee of Rs 75 for college. There are many other charges, including the Generator Hostel Health Sports Library. The tuition is divided into two parts - 1 is taken at admission, and the second part is taken at the time of submitting Fees to the exam.

Campus Life

Upon admission, the college celebrates first-year students and hosts a social event on campus. We celebrate Sarasota Puja every year. In addition to these two festivals, colleges celebrate a few calendar festivals.

Admission

First, we must fill out the online application form and pay the registration fee through the subject-published merit list after the online application process. If you are selected in the merit list, you will get a message on your registered mobile number. After that, we have to log in to the college entrance portal and then pay the entrance fee.

All faculty in the math department are excellent. Some of them are Ph.D. Holders. It also graduated from a prestigious college. Teachers are all consistent; There is no lecturer. The behavior of all the teachers was excellent.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
