The college had a very positive environment. The infrastructure of the campus was very well built and furnished. Various facilities were available for us. And the allover campus life was also very safe and satisfactory.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course of B.A(Journalism) was of three years and had Semistar system, 6 Semistars in total. The course adroited us and bring us with the practicality and theory of journalism which we should be knowing about.
Placement Experience
The college had a career councelling cell to help us or guide us for our career and to help us,get opportunities for jobs/internships. The college provided with various on-campus placements to students. I got placed in a media company from the on-campus placements of this college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure of B.A(Journalism) was very feasable as it was college of a state university. The allover fees for three years of course was Rs.6000/- and also scholarships were available for the capable students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college do provided with scholarships opportunities to their students on the baisis of their academic excellence or the students who were economically weak so as to provide them with higher education.
Campus Life
The college use to conduct various extracurricular activities within the campus of the college to promote allover development of girls. Various seminars also use to take place to make us adroit. The college was basically for girls and wasnt a coed one so there were no chances of gender discrimination.
Admission
The admission in this college was on the basis of merit. In the year 10+2. And the basic eligibility criteria for admission here was to be qualified with minimum of 50% in aggregate and 45% in related subject. I filled an online application form after my exams of 10+2 which was available on the website. And further the selection was on the basis of merit.
Faculty
The faculty was very good. They were all well skilled and had great experience with teaching and use to teach us with full enthusiasm and knowledge.. They were also very good in teaching us with all the practical aspects of journalism. And were well qualified.
