Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is designed in a way that students get an indepth analysis of their field of study and also are able to focus heavily on research. Students under ug courses did not have a hectic schedule as such apart from Examinations.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are there for MBA as well as B.tech students. Many companies visit the college at the end of the semester to recruit students based on their interviews and GD rounds.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the B.tech course is Rs 1 Lakh 49 thousand to be precise as the first year fees. For most of the students, the fees might be a bit expensive as it is four year course which can double their expenses.
Campus Life
Various workshops, seminars and student assemblies are held to equip students with soft skills as well apart from academics. There is a lot of discussion and round table meetings as well to discuss the current scenarios.
Admission
For the Btech course, there are two ways to apply. The scores of JEE Main can be considered or the examination conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. Scores of both the tests are valid.
Faculty
At SNU, the teachers and staff members of almost all the departments are highly qualified and experienced and one does not have to fear them so much. Most of the teachers have been teaching for a long time so they know how to adapt.
