Course Curriculum Overview
The college is affiliated to University of Calcutta, so the course curriculum designed by the university is followed. It is completely updated with latest teaching trends and based on student understanding of the subjects. Most part of the course is basically theoretical, as history courses are supposed to be.
Placement Experience
The college has an active career counselling cell which works for the betterment of it's students. It provides students with appropriate material to study and prepare for competitive exams. It has various CD's for grooming and improving soft skills of students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of our college is something which attracts most of the students, even from the economically weaker sections of the society. The fees for the first year is just Rs. 2085(including admission fee and registration fee), followed by Rs 1715 for the coming 2 years.
Campus Life
The college is very much involved in sports and other extra curricular activities. It holds an annual sports meet of 3 days which involves students taking part in different sporting events. The winner of these further represent our college at district levels. NCC cadets march around the college making it a remarkable sight for every student.
Admission
The admission was purely on merit basis. Once my name entered the merit list I was called upon by the college to show on a particular date. Upon reaching college my documents were verified along with a basic interview with a teacher, conducted just to know me well.
Faculty
The teaching faculty of this college is top notch. Most of the teachers are either PHD holders or post graduates with tons of prior experience in teaching. They always have the back of their students in difficult times.
