Course Curriculum Overview

Our college over various courses with various stream. BSc In my college has 11 stream while B.A in my college has 10 stream. I am currently pursuing BSc from this college, my course curriculum is full of practicality and research. course curriculum intend to give deep knowledge of the subject.

Placement Experience

Placement record of past few year show a great increase in the graph in my college.many renouned companies likes Wipro, TCS, came for campus recruitment. Currently College do not provide any internship .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Currently I am Persuing BSc degree from this College and I have to pay 7000 rupees per year as my tuition fee. The amount is quite nominal and pocket friendly. You will never regret of the money spent here because of the environment provided by the college is so good that you can achieve whatever you want beyond your limit.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities helps in overall development of students so Various DJ and cultural Nights are organised every year in the name of extra curricular activities. Sports events are also promoted so that students can learn team spirit and sportsmanship.

Admission

I got Admission into this college after scoring good marks in my class 12th boards examination. Notification regarding admission will be displayed on the official website so keep a regular check on the official website. Admission is purely on the basis of merit list prepared by considering the class 12 board marks in account.

Faculty are the prime source of knowledge and motivation for us. They are very hardworking,they try to make clear the concept of each and every student.they are very kind in nature and. Have supportive behaviour which helps a lot.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

College Life in Behala College

Usually usually in my time that is 2023 call you admission was to be held without any admission test full stop the student must provide respective marks of the class 12 board exams related to the course and feeling the website for each and every college they want to apply. Merit list is created on the basis of the marks code from various students approaching the college is number of seats are left then each student gets occupied filling the seat and getting admission. But recently I have heard that our state minister have organised a new website where a student can apply to all the colleges falling under Calcutta University and other University as well by feeling up one form and applying directly to the various colleges. A merit list is created on the basis of the college list selected and seats allotted to a particular college if the number of seats are finished in a desert college without the student getting a chance the student can sit from mop up round upgradation round. Behala college is the only college in Kolkata having a NAAC grade of A++ because of the huge infrastructure and facilities I did not apply to admission do I got in to other colleges because of this sole reason....Read More
