Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus for a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering stream was quite complex and in the first year itself, we had subjects from other core fields. We have to make a relevant file of the assignments and submit them at the time of viva and internals. The main exams were conducted during which we experienced several hectic days.
Placement Experience
The placement ratio was good at NSS college, as several national and multi-national companies came for hiring the final-year bachelor's students. Here, organizations like Suntec, poornam info vision, experion, IPAC, Dexlock were conducting the placement interviews.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Every student paid 7,514 yearly but gave 8,739 for the first year only. As the fees were much feasible to pay, the seniors completed their four-year bachelor's degree in 31,281 only. Generally, every student paid the fees yearly at the fee counter only.
Campus Life
When we entered the college, the members of the non-teaching staff explained several extra-curricular activities to us in which sports, inter-college quiz competitions were also included. On the other hand, we have a huge celebration for the students who have enrolled in the first year. I have already taken the pass for it.
Hostel Facilities
I applied for the hostel facilities as the building was at the campus itself so I gave my first-year hostel fees and later on shifted to PG rooms. The services and facilities were quite good and much appropriate but I cannot afford the rent and the PG rooms had a lower fee as compared to the college hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
It felt great and merely motivated to talk to alumni students who were in the same place where I am now. They guided me with a clear way and vision relevant to my curriculum and future job prospects.
Admission
The official dates for the KEAM exam were released so I filled the form and gave the entrance exam. Along with the scores of the higher secondary education and KEAM, I gave the application at the admission counter where my profile and academic documents were attached.
Faculty
At the NSS college, the faculty gave completely relevant and appropriate information as they gave the content on the same topic twice with a different perspective. When seen on a particular course, the told students to focus on the main keywords to understand it clearly.
