Course Curriculum Overview
The exams are scheduled twice a year, i.e. semester wise. The curriculum includes some such skills and ability enhancement courses/subjects that are really good for one's overall development and they definitely help the students to learn things beyond their course.
Placement Experience
Yes. Our college provides internships and placements. Mostly they are unpaid. I have worked, but not through my college. College focuses on social services mostly, like Teach For India. In case of Paid internships, internship cell is not much good. Placements happen here quite good with average package around 3lpa.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite low. The courses are very much feasible. The fee for all the courses is confined between Rs.15,000 to Rs.20,000. With this, the facilities, infrastructure and opportunities provided to us are no match to others.
Campus Life
We're provided an unmatched opportunity to excel and develop our skills through ECAs. We've a huge sports complex and a sports room. The labs for Science students are pretty much good with well functioning equipments but sometimes the equipments are pathetic, as being the government funded institution, it takes some time to replace the damaged instruments. But overall, we've a great opportunity for developing our skills and excelling in almost and field.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I live in hostel. It in on-campus hostel. It costs around Rs. 55,000-60,000. With this fee, the infrastructure and facilities provided are very good. We have our library, common room, laundry room, sports equipments and other basic requisites. And the most important thing, the food is amazing in the hostel
Admission
Eligibility for applying to a B.sc course is 50% in any stream in 10 + 2 Examination from any recognized board or university. One can apply directly through the online website. The college takes in students through merit ie through their percentage in the 12th board exams.
Faculty
The faculty is quite good. Although most of the teachers are on ad-hoc basis, because of less number of permanent seats for the teachers than actual requirements. And sometimes guest teachers are also invited to teach, if required. The faculty is exceptionally good when comes to comparison with other colleges but some teachers are out of the league, may be because of their old teaching styles or their years of experience.
