Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is well prepared by experts in the field as well academics keeping in mind the current scenario of the course and it's application in the field. The exam is based on semester wise evaluation. The course is of course industry specific. The placement as well is highly appreciable.
Placement Experience
The placement department is really active and helps to get the students placed. The only thing is the quality of placements isn't good i.e placements are limited to 5-8 lakhs per annum. There is no support for Internship from college and the students have to find on their own. Companies that visited our campus in past few years : TCS , Wipro , TATA , Ramco .
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible . We have to pay around 40,000 INR per year for the academic fees . The hostel fee is supposed to be payed separately. We can pay the fees through any mode : online or offline . The college does not pur any burden of late fee on the students .
Campus Life
Campus life is great, you will have a lot of roaming around to do, gender ratio is not so good as it is an engineering college but still it is better than others. Labs have new equipment and the teachers are really focused on practicals. Seniors will help you a lot in getting things done. We celebrate birthday parties and enjoy every part of the college life.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are like friend for us in our college. They treat us like we are their real brothers/sisters and they help us alot by guiding us in whatever path we like to be in. Alumnis play a very important role in providing opportunities and guiding us in various projects and research related topics.
Admission
I got admission to this college on the basis of marks obtained in TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) exam . This is a state entrance exam for the admission to engineering courses in Tamil Nadu . You have to fill an online application form to write the test.
Faculty
The number of lecturers in my course are approximately 140. Their average age is approx 45. Many teachers are coming to college because of their attachment and with the motive that they can provide any help to any student. They guide us in various projects and internships.
