Course Curriculum Overview

As the major is Construction Management, we nave to study primarily the subjects of Construction Management and how to implement theories in the real time. Electives also deal with newer technologies like Rural Development and Green Buildings. The course encapsulates everything that an on field Civil Engineer needs to know.

Placement Experience

Yet to reach that stage but historical data shows great value being imparted in the form of internship. Money, for a serious student at NITTTR is never an issue.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is expensive now than before. Fees is about 40, 000 per semester excluding hostel and other additional charges. 10.0000 security deposit. At my time the fees was 25, 000 / semester. And hostel fees was 10,000/6000 months.

Campus Life

Labs and infrastructure looks good from outside and is descent from inside. It's not like other government college's having broken benches and worthless equipments. It's fully furnished and comfortable to spend your time here.

Admission

I cracked the gate exam that year and applied for ME admissions in this college. I was called upon based on my merit.

All the faculty were highly qualified they were excellent in their research and teaching they were very supportive to the students all the teachers were involved in the consultancy work which gives the students a very good exposure to the actual site cons.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
