Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum in GMSMM was updated with all the latest topics and subjects. I have completed two semesters as of now. In my first semester, I was taught Phycology, Microbiology, Mycology, and Phytopathology. While in my second semester, I studied plant anatomy and Archegoniate.
Placement Experience
GMSMM supports students and encourages them for competitive examination. In addition to that, they initiate numerous training and career counseling programs for students to give us a better idea regarding further career aspects.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for B.Sc Hons in GMSMM is 9145 INR for three years. This includes tuition fees, admission fees, registration fees, exam fees, and other fees. Comparing it with other colleges, the structure was decent for me.
Campus Life
The college has a student union and class representatives. The representative ratio was 5:1 for women candidates. The student union conducts extracurricular activities like college sports, social as well as a fresher welcome.
Alumni/Alumna
All the college seniors were extremely helpful to me from the very start. They assisted me with the other formalities after admission. Likewise, my seniors from the same B.Sc honors course helped me with my studies as well.
Admission
I decided to continue with my main subject for further studies. As GMSMM is renowned for its undergraduate programs, I chose to opt for B.Sc Botany Honors. The entire admission process was accomplished by filling an online application and then I was selected on the basis of the merit list.
Faculty
From the very start, all the faculty members were extremely helpful and made sure to clarify all my queries precisely. They were so good that my concept for plant anatomy was absolutely clear, by the end of the semester. Their way of teaching was excellent and made me gain interest in majority of the field.
