Course Curriculum Overview
I was lucky to get an equal combination of both journalism and mass communication and the subjects were also equally taught to us. This particular stream gave much knowledge and we have auditorium lectures to understand through the video visualization. It helped in the final exams of the college and to prepare assignments for every subject.
Placement Experience
We have excellent job opportunities at well-known organizations like sony, aaj tak, NDTV, ZEE News, Zee Tv, ANI, Zee Punjabi which conducted extensive interview rounds. I attended almost all the interviews and got selected for the two of them ad they offered good package deals to the skilled and knowledgeable students.
College Events
We have video visualization events, seminars, practical training events, on-field practice webinars for the students. Candidates themselves celebrated regional festivals at the campus and also the college holds a prime position in events of journalism.
Fee Structure And Facilities
ISOMES had very expensive fees for the students of this particular course as the amount for three years to pay was 4.13 lakhs. The fees are to be paid during the time given by the college as there was a penalty for the students.
Campus Life
Most of the course was based on several extra-curricular activities. Here at the campus, we have clubs and groups for which the college organized mass media activity, general conference, and also some practical sessions on journalism and communication.
Hostel Facilities
There were sharing rooms at the hostel rooms as the room size was quite large. Also, the hostel fees were moderate but my classmates opt for the pg room private services available nearby the main campus itself.
Admission
An application form is available at the institute website, so I gave my documents to confirm the identity listed in the form itself. Also, the students have to pay the fees for the application form through the online source. Students are shortlisted based on their profile.
Faculty
The faculty was a team of experts and gave every aspect to the course with a glimpse of professionalism. As the faculty took much interest in teaching every lecture, so we also got thorough knowledge and also the extra notes for the main exam.
